I’m a Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist with over 20 years of experience. I’ve worked with patients on university campuses, in clinical settings, in fitness and training environments, and in private practice. I’m passionate about helping people have a healthier relationship with food and feeling better.

At home in Oak Harbor, WA, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, moving joyfully (running, yoga, barre and hiking), obsessing over true-crime podcasts, and soaking up every ray of sunshine I can find.

Discovering your body’s unique nourishment needs is a process. I meet you where you are on your personal journey to wellness and work with you to create a practical science-based nutrition plan that supports your wellness goals. Island Nutrition and Wellness is a safe space to be curious, ask questions, and try new things. My goal is to help you become more attuned with your body’s nutritional needs and develop your capacity to honor them. We’ll celebrate meaningful progress like increased energy, better sleep, improved digestion, and clarity of mind. It may not always be easy but it will certainly be worthwhile.

Discovery & Goal Setting

First, I’ll get to know you—your likes, dislikes, your history, and health and wellness goals. I'll ask lots questions and help you set realistic and helpful goals.

Food Science & Strategy

Next, we’ll look at food—the foods you like, the foods you don’t like and why. I’ll create a customized and balanced nutrition plan for you and will work with you implement a healthy lifestyle that will help you reach your wellness goals.

Support & Maintenance

Finally, I’ll assist your health and wellness journey with continued nutritional support and ongoing coaching as needed. The road might not always be easy but I’ll be with you every step of the way.
